EKP/ LPFP on its way out?
Hi,
I've been having an issue with the idle since I bought the car and thought it was an air leak but have replaced all o-rings in the intake system and am not getting any codes. The idle drops to below 500rpm before recovering and only happens when the car is warm. It used to do it when coming to a stop going from 2nd to neutral and coming off the clutch but now almost always shortly after I've turned the engine on. As a note - when I turn the car on there's a delay of a few seconds before I hear the buzzing of a pump kicking in from outside the car (rear right side) I've caught the issue on video and also have a log from a different occasion. ** Car is a 03/2012 build UK market manual transmission. Video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LFF...ew?usp=sharing I only caught the tail end after the revs had dropped to <500rpm. Datalogs after intercooler pipe o-rings and pre-turbo gaskets: https://datazap.me/u/lemansn55/rev-h...og=0&data=4-20 https://datazap.me/u/lemansn55/weird...og=0&data=4-20 (can't recall if this one was before or after doing the intercooler pipe o-rings) https://datazap.me/u/lemansn55/20240...g=0&data=19-20 The engine idles fine with the clutch depressed and at a higher rpm which I assume is a built in feature to make taking off smoother/easier.
