Hi guys, I tried to use FSC code generator and i realized my operating system is windows 8 64bit and I was not able to generate FSC code. Can someone please PM me FSC code for my car. 2013 BMW 640i Gran coupe. Last 7 digits of VIN DZ03957. Current version: 112121.2.18. Road map North America Premium 2013-1A. TIA.

Win 8 64-Bit works perfectly fine.

That is a common problem. I have no way of knowing what the specific issue is.

It generates the FSC in three steps. But you have to change the "year-parameter" in the batch-file to a later map (e.g. 2016 - or even later - instead of 2014), then it works perfectly.
The Default 0x06 for 2014 does not work, but 0x09 does!

In adition, you'll need an ENET cable and a working EDIABAS intallation (32-bit - It does not run on 64-bit Windows!)

Hi all,
I know I may sound dumb. When tried to copy these folders to C drive I don't have folder called Ediabas_ecu and when i run FSC_GENERATOR i am getting an error "Unable to load DLL 'api.dll': the specified module could not be found. (Exception form HRESULT:0x8007007e." can any one help by solving this issue or if anyone is kind enough to generate the code for me.

I will like kindly to request some help. I have f30 with business 2014-1 navigation. I got ENET cable and get .fcs file with E-SYS. First I try to install BMW ROAD MAP EUROPE NBT-NEXT 2018-1 but i got message that installation is incompleted. Second attempt is with Road_Map_EUROPE_Route_2018-1 but all codes that i try to generate wit NBT.exe or FCS generators are invalid. Please can somebody provide more information what I'm doing wrong. Thank you in advance..

There is no public generator for ROUTE FSC Codes.

this is the instruction provided into a .txt file of fsc generator

Installation:

runs only on 32 bit systems

For generating right fsc.bat which has to be in folfder EC-APPS:

when you want to change year, edit the fsc.bat line 0x05 is 2013 , 0x06 is 2014 , ox07 is 2015 and so on,, the 0x28 is for europe

c:\EC-APPS\fsc a.hex 0x28 0x05 > code.txt

copy files to the folders mentioned

prepare ediabas.ini for use with ICOM (if you have): put interface as REMOTE and insert IP address from IcOM under RemoteHost e.g. 254.169.92.38, using port 6801

lock ICOM for use with ediabas (via browser-interface of ICOM under Channels, or with IToollRadar)

start FSC Generator start with left button
a file is generated named blabla.fsc

middle button starts decoder. load previous generated .fsc file and save as a.hex
start decode and the mentioned file a.hex will be created.

hit generate button and a file named code.txt will be created, which containms the valid FSC for your car and map

insert this code in CIC and you're done.
