M2 CS / CSL is real [spotted but no pics]

It's real. I live in an area where there's a plethora of test mules, especially BMW and Porsche. Also Hyundai but that's besides the point.

Anyways, walking the dog and I hear a s58 so glance up. It's the M2 but it's in complete camo. Couldn't see the front because by the time I glanced over it was passing me but the camo was covering side skirts and also a high kick spoiler. Not a wing but high duck bill type.

Thought y'all would want to know. Sorry for the lack of pics but it was already moving. Good news is, now that I know there's something to look forward to, I'll keep my eyes peeled.

That's always a possibility but the spoiler looked too high for just a comp model.

Much higher than the comp models we've seen thus far. (F8x / F90 / G8x)

More like duckbill spoiler. But high. Not the mini "Supra wing". Which made me think CS/CSL. Way different spoiler.

Was the ducktail like the M4 CSL where it's integrated into the trunk or did it look like it was an addon held down with adhesive?

The problem is, with the camo, I have no clue. But yes, the trunk looked more like this and not the M-Performance (mini mkiv Supra) wing. This is kinda what I meant by "high kick".

If that is the case, could be a CSL testing. I would expect CS to have a carbon add-on lip spoiler.

I hope so. M2 CSL variant would tick a lot of my boxes.

Also, I get it's the internet but I have better things to do with my time than make up shit, especially car stuff lol. Long time lurker not first time M owner.

This is what I'm hoping for. Had it just been the Supra wing, I would've assumed Comp, but the fact that it was a much different shape (curvature) than we have been used to, made me think CS and if there is a God, CSL.

F8x MP spoiler protruded more outward with a bit up upward. F90 went more upright with the indent in the middle but not too tall. This was just really noticeable fat lip that was higher than we're used to.

Also, what really made me try to get details was the entire car was covered in camo. I would've expected just minimal camo over the parts that have been modified but the entire car was camo.
