Nothing. I got my 6MT, CF Roof+Trim, and MP HAS as performance options. Saved money skipping the wireless charger and HUD, which I knew would be relatively useless. Just need to ditch the cast wheels at some point in the future for something lighter. I would prefer the exhaust to be slightly louder, but not enough to spend $9,000 on the MP Titanium Exhaust. I think the aftermarket will solve that soon enough though.

- The possibility to have the carbon seats without M Driver's package and HUD (they are part of one package here)
- More color options (did anyone ever say that?) |

Probably the easiest post-purchase solve. Lol. Seats aren’t that hard to replace. Just might not be easy/cheap to acquire them.

[QUOTE=npirnia;30286536]I really liked the HUD on my F30 340i since it made quick speed checks easy in the setting of an analog gauge cluster.
With my M2, I skipped the HUD since the display has digital speed and I don’t miss the HUD at all. My car is lightly optioned: lighting package, parking assist, heated steering wheel, and wireless charger. The charger is the only part I would skip and I really like my spec. Great balance of value and usability. The base options on the M2 are really great and you don’t need to add much to have a really well equipped car. So far, this is one of my favorite cars that I have owned and it has far exceeded my expectations. My wife also loves driving it and now wants to borrow it on a regular basis…this is a first for me! -Nick I’m curious what you think of the parking assist. Have you used it much? |

Same.
I find myself turning it off at night. I don’t get the overwhelming love for it. |

Having a very tough time sourcing any carbon buckets.. whether that be from the G87 or from the M3 and M4. I'm in Canada so they're a bit harder to find compared to the US since you guys have a bigger market.

Oh, if I had ordered the car I probably would have not ordered the CF roof. While I'm no fan of sunroofs I am a fan of saving/not spending $2600.... But I like the looks of the car with the CF roof and lighter is better so even if I had to do it over again I might check the CF roof option. There are some options I don't care for and would not want mainly because I'd never used the options. First on the chopping block is the wireless charger. (Without referring to the order sheet I assume I could just drop the wireless charger by itself.) Another option is... is... Well, that's it I guess. Delete the wireless charger. Oh, maybe I'd go for the automatic. The clutch/manual transmission in the car is a nice combo but to really appreciate/experience the car's acceleration an automatic is required. With an automatic taking off from a stop is easier and the automatic just shifts quicker and consistently time after time. Big HP almost always is *better* with an automatic. That's why I bought my 1st Scat Pack (485hp) with an automatic and my Hellcat (707hp) with an automatic. The 2nd Scat Pack I bought with a 6-speed manual and the clutch/manual transmission was ok but it dulled the car's acceleration somewhat compared to the 1st Scat Pack fitted with the automatic. |

I hope one day we at least have the option to build a G87 that features every spec from across the BMW/M Perf catalogue - including xDrive, more colors, driving systems, lighter rims, carbon discs, etc - so customers can, fully spec and option out a G87, if they so desired. I believe this platform can carry the full weight of BMWs part catalogue and still very much remain a drivers car while carrying the balance of the perfect daily. That car would be so far ahead of the market and competition. |

Want to add something to my do-over list...
I might have gone BSM. They just look so damn mean in black especially with the yellow DRL's. I haven't come across one (or any G8X) that doesn't have it so it's tough to say. I'd bet that it's just the HUD and nothing else. |

This is an excellent thread for those of us waiting for an allocation. I’ve added and removed a few options (changed the color once as well) over the past few months based on owner’s experiences. However, I’m still waffling on color. After seeing the cars in Scottsdale earlier this year, my initial choice ZB, was changed to AW. Never owned a black car but the G87 BSM is a bad ass look. Still time to change one more time.
Edit: Apologies for butting in on current owners only thread. |

Can you elaborate a bit? I was wafling between these two on my build sheet and ultimately went AR as I thought the CF may look a bit cheesy based on the samples. But curious on your thoughts since you already have it and I still have time to update mine.

I haven't come across the CF steering wheel trim, but the black trim on the steering wheel does not look bad. I'm not going to change it.

The sample must be deceiving. It looked like the cheaper material than the AR I saw on the HEA car before it was picked up by the customer. |

the only thing i would want is the 360 degree camera (if it ever becomes available) but honestly don't really need it nor do i regret my purchase one bit, car is a fat small car. you'd definitely want that on a fat fat car though like some of its older siblings (:
