Scheduled for production timeline?

Anyone know how long orders sit in this status before moving to “production begins” in general?

Completely depends on scheduled build week and should switch about two weeks before that

I sat there for two weeks and then production began the day my CA said it would when we got the allocation months ago. What production week were you assigned?

I was told production week of sept 10, but it got moved up a bit I think since it moved to scheduled for production status last week. It was sitting in order received status for a while. Not sure, but I heard the factory was moving up production dates recently on the MY24.

I went to 150 yesterday with a production date of 9/5 after sitting at 112 for a couple weeks. If that helps at all…

That sounds right, I should move to 150 next week from what it looks like. Seems like the factory is ramping up production. I saw a MY24 yesterday and they added extended shadowline trim which included a black rear spoiler vs car color paint. They did this with the G42 as well from MY22 to MY23, weird.

1-2 weeks from 112 to 150. 150 typically happens about 2 weeks before assembly begins, then 2-4 more days to complete assembly

Scheduled for production typically changes to in production queue about 2 weeks before production week. But this can vary by a couple days or more sometimes.

Mine switched from in production queue to in quality check about 3 days before production week, then to final assembly 2 days later. From what I have seen from others it can get stuck there for a bit or on the next step ready for transport.

Oh nice so yours got moved up a bit. Yea, it’s the carrier assignment that has some delay from what I’m seeing.

Where did you see the MY24? Images? I didn’t order the Shadowline option, but I did see the code “0760 - Shadowline Exterior Trim” listed as “standard” in the production codes, so I was wondering what this was about. Maybe it’s related to this. My car is black, so maybe it won’t be much of a change. Any other changes you saw to the ‘24? Any idea how I could get a look at the ‘24?

0760 is for the trim around the windows etc (standard on G87) . It was at a gas station, I just asked the owner about it since he had the same specs I’m getting, so no pics. If you got black you won’t notice a difference, his was white (as is mine) so it looked good. Other than that I’m told the MY24 have the same exact options this was the one minor change.

BTW if you didn’t spec shadowline you’ll have chrome exhaust tips (vs black) and chrome elements in your headlights (vs blacked out). Not sure if you knew that.

Shadowline is smoked taillights too, IIRC? I also think the DRL pattern is different in the headlights.

DRL is the lighting package. Tail lights are the same regardless of shadowline.

TY, it's forever since I was in the configurator. I thought the lighting package was included in the shadowline option.

You have to spec the lighting package if you spec shadowline, but you can get the lighting package as a standalone too.

Yep, I did the lighting package and left the Shadowline off. Thanks for the info!

Many are reporting an avg of 3 months from allocation date so it varies I suppose. I'm in az so it's going to be delivered by you then trucked to me lol.

Odd that MY 2024 is moving to a blacked out rear spoiler when I didn’t see any mention of that on the order guide.
So is the switch to the black spoiler across all units or only for those with the shadow line package option?
