I’ve always said São Paulo yellow would be perfect on this car, and this wrapped one on Instagram confirmed it to me. If I can get one in this colour I’m in 100%

I encourage everyone to read the entire article. That said, here's a brief summary of the most notable takeaways from it.

Individual colors that are coming for MY25
  • Grigio Telesto
  • Java Green
  • A purple shade (TBD)
The article also makes mention of these colors being added but it's unclear if these are standard colors or individual. In the 'Future BMW model information' thread ynguldyn also reported a similar albeit not exactly the same list of new colors. He made no mention of them being individual so if I'd have to guess I'd say these are new colors being added to the standard color pallet for MY25.
  • Sao Paulo Yellow
  • Fire Red
  • Skyscraper Grey
  • Voodoo Blue
First time seeing 'Voodoo Blue' being reported in a publication as a new color!

MY25 G87 gets 473hp bump (+20hp) as has been previously reported.

Another mention for an upcoming M2 xDrive variant.
If Skyscraper is confirmed, I may have to cancel my 2024 order and go with 2025. That color is amazing.

I agree Voodoo Blue would be amazing! Truth be told, I do not believe we will see individual paint at the earliest until MY25. SOP 08/24, possibly later.

BMWBLOG G87 BMW M2 to Offer Individual Colors, But Not All https://www.bmwblog.com/2023/08/23/g...vidual-colors/

From the article; The addition of new colors won’t happen though in Model Year 2024. Instead, the production change will take place in August 2024 therefore the ordering guides in the United States will refer to the M2 as the Model Year 2025. There is also the possibility that the San Luis Potosi plant in Mexico might expand its capabilities to offer the complete range of BMW Individual colors in the future. But for now, we are told the color palette will still be fairly limited.

From the same article; Of course, the biggest news for us in 2024 is the power increase of the M2. According to sources, the G87 M2 will deliver 480 PS which translates to around 473 horsepower. There’s no word about a torque increase over the current 406 pound-feet (550 Newton-meters). It’s worth mentioning that the enhanced S58 engine configuration is intended for the standard M2 variant, without the “Competition” designation.

Damn if they confirmed Voodoo being available next year it would be hard to not just be patient and try and wait.. although I wonder what the MSRP bump would be at that point next year as well..

oh well can always wrap it

I seriously wish BMW would just call these few added regular option shades: NORMAL OPTION PAINTS.

Stop saying Individual unless they mean the Individual PROGRAM. Or perhaps I am the only one who hears "Individual Paint" and that means the whole color palate that you have to get approved!

Same for Mercedes. They have been labeling regular option paints as "designo Manufaktur" for a few years now

It's being used on the new i5. I think it looks awesome. Kind of like Mazda's beautiful Soul Red Crystal, but a little bit deeper/darker.

Lots of other pics available online.

I’m not anti metallic but the non metallic greens look better to my eye. I saw an isle m3 last month, cruised behind him for 5 minutes or so. It was gorgeous but just a little “sharp” for me. Ever see a 15k paint job on an old muscle car, the paint looks like you could put your hand in it? That’s what I dig.

Curious on your thoughts of the 23 & 24 production years will get a “tune” to match the performance of the 25? If it’s that simple…?

It is that simple and I think BMW is missing out on "subscription" money here. We all know they would like us to pay subscription fees for some features..., well I, for one, would be more than happy to pay a subscription fee for a "tune on demand" app built into the car.

Dodge did it with different color keys.

I can't predict the future but I wouldn't be surprised if current and 2025 M2's dyno'd with identical power, because the engines and tuning were in fact identical, and that the current cars are simply a tiny bit underrated as a goodwill gesture to the M3's/M4's owners, keep them from regretting their purchases.

Regarding colors, the yellow is actually pretty awesome.
