Fixing my 328i Rims
Please help, I am trying to find out which rims + color I have on my 2016 BMW 328i. I have multiple paint chips which I am trying to fix. Thanks

you sure that's not plastidipped style 392 wheels?

Judging by the center cap, they were painted (poorly).

see if it peels off like rubber.
if it does, then it's plastidipped. |

I see tires size 17. Run your VIN thru mdecoder.com to find out what the car got from the factory.

i understand not everyone is an enthusiast and more specifically, a wheel/tire enthusiast, but at 1st glance it is obvious to me that it has been plasti-dip/rattle-canned and they didn't even bother to take the centercaps off. |

freakystyly said it. Find an alloy safe spray and remove that stuff, or if it is Plastidipped, start picking at it. Your car will thank you.

Hope the rest of the ride looks better!
A sandblast and powder coat isn't terribly expensive if you can find a place to do it. Likely cheaper than trying to replace them if the paint doesn't clean up. Maybe live with it until the tires are toast, because you'd have to dismount/remount, balance, etc. |
