xdrive staggered wheel setup 20 inch wheels
Hello everyone I’m about to buy some wheels for my 440i gran coupe xdrive I currently have the car lowered on h and r springs and the wheel gap isn’t quite gone so to help I was gonna get 20 inch wheels
The setup that I am about to buy is:20x8.5 in the front with a +32 offset wrapped in a 245/35/20 tire And in the rear 20x10 with a +45 offset with a 275/30/20 tire Is this ok to run on xdrive or will I cause damage to my transfer case with this setup Please help. |

Several things:
- Not sure how getting bigger rims would close any gap.... the overall diameter shall remain the same! - The dimensions you have selected are not approved for F3x - The difference in diameter (front and back) comes out as 1,1%, which is just beyond the max 1% golden rule when it comes to xDrive... not ideal. - What does one need 275 wide tires on an xDrive F3x is beyond me - you will appreciably degrade performance.

The rim sizes and offsets are correct. The tires I recommend is 235/35 & 275/30, as 245/35 can rub the wheel well a bit at partial or full lock, and can make the x-drive jerking (i.e. also wearing faster).
