Staggered Vs Square Wheels for Xdrive

I currently have the stock 400m wheels but I want 19s staggered but I have xdrive. Was wondering opinions on which would be better square or staggered performance and practicality too I do daily drive this car so not sure what I should do I know about the 1% thing that doesn’t bother me but I want to know which is better for xdrive vehicles

XDrive doesn’t care as long as front/rear diameter difference is within 1%. Lookup the measured tire diameters on TireRack. 0.2” or less is within 1%, 0.3” or greater is over 1%.

I personally am a fan of square 255/40-18. Great handling and great ride comfort. Rotate them front to back for totally even wear throughout the lifespan of expensive tires. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S are excellent summer tires.

+1 for 255/40/18. Ran them on 18x8.5 wheels. 18's over 19's IMO and they still fit the M Performance big brake kit.
