2012 335is purchase questions
Hi everyone.
Just joined and I'm on the verge of leasing a new 12' 335is. First question is, how much should I expect a dealer to discount this car? Is 5% in the ball park? The particular car I'm about to look at has these options: Black sapphire/oyster (leather). 7 spd DCT Convenience PKG Premium PKG Satellite Radio Heated Front Seats MSRP: $58,419 Second question, what is the general consensus regarding how well this car is liked? It pains me beyond belief, but I will have to trade in my 09' Z06 corvette. I don't make this decision lightly, but the Z06 is just too much of an impractical animal for normal street driving. I need something more practical, but has a satisfying amount of overall performance. BMW has a really nice lease special for this car, with a very low money factor. |

I have tried to deal with BMW of Austin for a SGM 335is MSRP at $62320 (got EVERY SINGLE OPTIONS), and the best price the guy can give me was $60000 plus $1000 loyalty incentive.
But in the end I dealt locally here in Houston and I got a BSM 2012 335is couple days ago, got all the options (except heated front seats and HK sound) for $62000 tax included. I got over all a little over $3200 off the MSRP. I hope this helps, good luck.

I just picked up a 2012 335is as well. Sticker of $60,220. (AW, DCT, HK, Premium, PDK, NAV, and 19 inch 313's) With all the incentives, and dealer negotiation... got the car for $52000.00. This was before the $1000.00 USA drive event credit and $300 rebate for the BMW iphone APP rebate, which was applied toward the drive offs. So there is definitely a good amount of room to get a pretty good deal.

Great minds think alike right? Leased it. Applied the $1000 option credit, $1000 loyalty (current BMWFS account holder), the $1000 USA Drive event credit, and the $300 iphone App rebate. |

Nah, it's a lease so the Gross Cap cost of was $52k (Agreed Selling Price of Car) + $45 (Doc prep) & $725 (acquisition Fee) = $52800ish. The Adjusted Cap cost Was $51kish, after the applying of the USA drive event $ and the iphone app $. Are you surprised that the sticker is so low or so high with the options listed?

So I submitted my app and down payment and they called me back and informed me that their system had a glitch and the previously agreed to deal didnt have sales tax included eventhough they told me it did...so its closer to $650 now...NO DEAL!

Computer glitch huh... Seems like dealers have computer glitches often, LOL. That $599 a month is definitely something that can be reached, if the dealer was willing to do it. I got mine down to $549/ month including tax, with a MSRP of $60,220.

I'm currently looking for 4d 335i white with black interior but can't find any around OC cali. i went to Santan ana bmw dealer and found one with msrp bout 53k, they offer to take off about only 500 from msrp. Is that true that bmw doesn't make much of 4 doors 335i anymore. btw what is exactly usaa discount? and how can i get it? Is there any incentives that i can take advantage of ? please HELP. THNKS

Dealer offered me a great deal on a 335is but it lacks Harmon Kardon and BMW Apps..It's Lemans blue with black interior with nearly every other option equipped. Deal breaker? I can't seem to find a fully loaded 335is within the tri-state area...

I don't think the HK would be a deal breaker. The HiFi stereo that comes with the 335is is amazing. I thought mine accidentally came with subwoofers or something, haha.
Mine is a "stripped" 335is (no nav/no screen/etc.) and I really enjoy the car regardless. I'm a minimalist but with that said, I might have trouble selling if I decide to in the future. Oh well! |

I just got a quote for a 335is that I'd like some members' input on this deal:
2013 335is MSRP 61,000 reduced to 56,000 Lease for 30 months 10 K miles per year @ 2,000 down (including first month's payment) and monthly rate of $616 including tax. Is this a decent deal? |

10K/year in miles seems low for LA, no? Also - is this assuming a single security deposit? Price it out with max of 7 security deposits, and see how much you save in the MF rate/month. |
