Spec looks great, really liking the BG / Red contrast - well done, and congratulations on the change from japan to germany; you'll find it really worthwhile even if it costs some more to use.

For some reason the front quarter panel kink stands out much more than I've noticed before on this build. Not the biggest fan of how sharp it shows here, and then the gloss black lower dip that's spreading like wild fire is a terrible design choice.

The hood is really well designed on this too, overall it's a smart little package - though some of BMW design decisions went in the wrong direction IMO.

Enjoy your new ride!

I've been driving Honda Accords too all my life and since my wife upgraded to the new X3, I just had to join the bmw fam. I also ordered the M240!

What is it like to transition between a full size passenger vehicle like the Honda Accord to a 2 door sports car?

Like transitioning from a middle aged average looking girlfriend to a younger hotter one that's also a hellcat in bed.

It's a pretty huge difference from my Accord. I have a 2013 honda accord (haven't sold it yet... being lazy).

First off, everything feel tighter and firmer on the interior. My Accord doesn't have a rattle anywhere, but everything feels fairly cheap and doesn't have a good feel. The BMW definitely gives you a more premium feel to everything.

This is good because everything is also smaller. It's a smaller car in terms of length (like 10") and width (1"). You feel that inside the car. Honda gives you massive visibility all around and makes you feel like you're sitting in a very airy area. The BMW is much more compact. The front seats have plenty of room, but it sacrificed a ton of rear seat room and cargo space. In width, the BMW is also way slimmer on the inside than the dimensions difference would suggest. More than likely this is because of a ton more insulation, which is very much appreciated after coming from a Honda.

That all being said, the visibility from this 2 door isn't that bad at all. I've ridden in the newer camaros and a mustangs, and I felt like the visibility was almost debilitating. The m240 did a good job in the back to give you decent visibility at your blind spot and out the back window.

The more "cramped" nature of the car is definitely helped by having your moon roof cover open. It lets in a ton of light, increases head room, and overall gives you the feeling of more space when it doesn't actually give you more. I said cramped with quotes because it doesn't actually feel cramped in the front area at all. It's plenty of room, even for my size (6ft 200lbs).

Very nice! seeing the soft light pics..very tempting to change my order to BG instead of TN metallic.. but I've got a GT4RS in Arctic Gray on way.. so will stick with it.. very nice color combo.. enjoy!

You know what, after today, I noticed that in warm light, it actually comes off as blue quite a bit.
IMHO, Brooklyn Grey is one of the best colors offered by BMW today. It definitely changes color depending on whether it is daytime, nighttime and the type of light (sunny, cloudy, street lights, etc.) shining on the car.

My all time favorite BMW color Yas Marina Blue also had this color change effect.

Love the red interior, wish they would bring it back to the 3er.

I definitely like this the most in Brooklyn Grey. It seems to work well with the red brakes.

Not in the UK I don’t believe, you can order them from your dealer, mine said he would gladly order them, but would prefer not to fit it as with the paint being so new it can scratch it (taking the non black one off) talking from experience apparently

I had my sales guy order it. The day I picked up, he had the technician install it. Really debating about the m performance badge...

I was thinking of getting them too, I’m also really tempted by the Carbon Side skirt attachments, but the cost ($2000] is off putting
