Another reason we should have a engine/drivetrain section.
No there isnt at this point, however, there have been very limited changes in terms of placement and location of a supercharger. Doesnt appear to be much room for a turbo. The only tough part is engine management.

TorqueFreaks/HorsepowerFreaks is making one. They made a thread few months back regarding this. Do a search. I believe they bought one e90 and one 5 series to use them as test vehicles.
Torquefreaks is about 30min away from my place. Maybe I'll give them a call and ask them what is going on with the R&D. I went to a Dyno Meet @ torquefreaks few weeks back, didn't hear anything about it.

I am sure many people would love to have this but I don't know if I want my 330i to be any faster than it already is. It's more than enough for me

Just to let you know a turbo kit is pointless (in my opinion of course). You you are into custom work all you need is.....
-a turbo (whatever size) -a turbo manifold (might be impossible to get but you can always build one - an intercooler - and intercooler piping - and a downpipe Turbo kits are expensive and overpriced. They come with alot of unessesary stuff I put one togethor for my civic but the again it is an E90 |

if you're lookin at just 0-60 times, you can probably even just compare the e46 330i s/c to the e46 M3, because the e46 330i and the e90 330i are about the same roughly 6sec.-6.1. in fact the e46 330 zhp is a lil faster |

why not just buy a 330 to start out with?
it's not $6500 difference, it's as low as $2700 if you get xenons logic7 and power seats on the 325. i love how people won't spend 3-4 grand to get factory power, but 6-7 grand aftermarket sounds OK |
