Non BMW related, but gutted all the same :(
Got a call in work today letting me know that my car and about 13 others had been keyed.
Went out and someone has totally went to town on the Clio Gutted. Bonnet, wing, door and quarter all right through to the metal. Probably looking at a write off now You spend your life working hard and saving, to get what you need, to scrape by.........and then some useless waste of life does this. But you know what, he wins....he will always win......he gets to go to jail, a lovely warm cell and 3 meals a day. Its the very reason he did it. I watched him getting lifted and he was well impressed with himself. S'pose I could spread the word that he was inside for less acceptable offences and that might alter his "holiday" About 18 cars and around 25k of damage. I dont normally say stuff like this, but I hope he dies......soon, slowly........and painfully. Preferably with fire and some decay, possibly with animal bites too. Tuesday sucks J |

Saddening. I would keep your car. It can be repainted.
I just don't understand how someone can go out cause thousands of pounds of damage, and are prefectly safe in the knowledge that they won't have to pay for it. Give the police lip. Swagger and strut. Bring back debtors towers. Dank, dingy, damp and cold. Bread and water. Fling idiots that do this into them, and they can stay there until they pay for the damage fully. Can't pay. Tough. You can rot. There is no accountability anymore. D.

rather then shut down guantanamo bay, they should keep it open for such low life scum.
i bet that would put an immediate halt to any criminal activities in this country |

The more im reading on this forum about cars getting damaged, stolen etc - the more i wonder what the point of owning something nice is.
Guess im lucky round here so far we havent had any probs - only when wife left her car unlocked and someone stole her sunglasses - but her own fault there. How the hell can someone have done that much damage to the clio's bonnet and no-one noticed??? Must have taken a fair while to do that.

Was this done in darkness or somewhere very quiet. Seems a huge amount of damage to do and expect to get away, perhaps as you say he wanted to get caught as this seems crazy in the extreme. Can't see the PSNI giving him too tough a time or the Courts.

Was done in an alleyway behind our work at 8:30 this morning.
It definately took him time and mine seems to have received the most attention. Just what we need with a new baby and associated expenses. J |

Ah mate, what a load of shit. I feel your pain. I had my car keyed when I was 18 by a low life sub-human scumbag. Not as bad as yours though. Where was this at work?!

Yeah man, had just parked up and got in and got a call after about 20 minutes.
Car will be a write off if it goes through the insurance so it will have to stay like that until i can fix it myself. J |

Such a society we live in that people will resort to crime to get themselves under a roof /with food. It's sad really. Although I'm sorry to hear about the inconvenience, have a think about it... you just helped get someone off the streets into shelter. Bizarre ain't it.

The f***ing just wrote off my car because he was a c***. Do you think i can afford it? "Helped someone get of the streets" ? Are you f***ing serious? This guy can afford a 70 odd quid shell suit and 100 quid nikes as well as a daily drink intake that would kill an ox. I am dressed like a f***ing hobo these days. No offence, but that is horse shit. The homeless people in NI are in the homeless shelters that are laid on by the government and are very well looked after thank you. This guy, is just out of jail. Jail is not a homeless shelter. It is a place for c**** and should be replaced by a meat grinder. DO NOT F*** ME OFF! J |

Nightmare for you mate, you've made no secret of you having to cost-cut and flog your beloved Beemer, but took it like a man, now this happens. Really feel sorry for you mate.
On the bright side, your baby girl will make all this evaporate once you get home, and that's a very good thing indeed. My little girl is now 4 years old, just started 'big' school, and gives me the same uplifting feeling everyday. Two weeks from today her baby brother is due to arrive on the scene and it all starts again. Kids get you through all this shite with their unconditional love and affection - concentrate on that mate - paint the car when you can be arsed; it's not important in the great scheme of things.

What sort of a twisted sick fucko would you have to be to have the desire to do that kind of mindless damage to some strangers property? This asshole needs 5 or 10 minutes "attitude adjustment" with a baseball bat. Try to keep the chin up mate!
