Oil temperature Fluctuations on e92 325i
Hi all, please excuse me if my post is very obvious or doesn't make any sense as I am quite new to this.
I have a BMW 3 series e92 coupe 325i 2008 model. The other day the oil temperature was at roughly 120 degrees Celsius. Yesterday morning and this morning, the oil temperature dropped to 70 degrees Celsius and caused the Engine Management light on. I had a full service done last year in September, never seen the engine management light come on before, has anyone got any ideas what it may be? |

Two suggestions:
1) get any fault codes read 2) faulty oil temp sensor.
