Same as the Camo one same as the leaks . Why did they choose this of all colors to launch this car with? This is a terrible choice of color.

What about the G8X leaks? those were met with very strong denial.

We all need to face the facts, BMW doesn't care about what we think and will make whatever they damn please until such a time it doesn't make them enough money.

If you want consistent, classic styling buy a Porsche. Sadly no other brands are really keeping things the same, MB did a big overhaul with their newer models, especially the electric ones not to mention their horrid interiors. Audi is more conservative outside but again made the interior a bit messy. The future isn't great looking at all for many brands whether we like it or not.

I love BMWs, and I had a G80. I still don't like the direction some things are heading with their split headlights ( X7, 7 Series, XM) or loss of physical buttons in iDrive 8. It could always be worse of course.

Rather than complain, I simply voted with my money and went elsewhere for a vehicle.

The one thing BMW has done well lately outside the G8X design, which I liked, is launch colors. The G8X, G42 etc have launched with excellent colors, but that trend seems to be ending with the G87 based on the leaked images.

Enough with this silly teasing already. No one enjoys it. Just show the car already from 50 different angles and give us a nice walkaround video.

BMW isn't doing itself any favors here.

If it’s not real I’d rather it not be there at all but that’s just my opinion. We also don’t know that it doesn’t have them yet technically…that leaked pic may have been early pre production

I actually miss the M applications behind the front wheel arch the most. I was really hoping they'd make it on the M2 as well.

I will have a look at the complete design at my leisure on October 12. Then I'll make my final decision - M2 or M3.

I remember when the F87 M2c was revealed how much everyone hated the conjoined grilles on the front bumper and complained that the rear didn't get any changes which really let down the car. Only a few months later you didn't hear a peep out of anyone about either. Not saying the G87 will be the same but seems that a lot of people have made up their minds before the car has been properly revealed. Give it a chance, plenty of time for opinions after.

I always laugh at the…."..all other ///M's were universally loved from the beginning" comments. They absolutely were not. Even the currently beloved E46 M3 caught a ton of flack in the early 2000's.

Not looks-wise, but certainly weight, driving dynamics, softness, steering feel, etc etc etc. Lots and lots of "BMW has really lost its way", "BMW is now the Ultimate Compromise Machine..."

The RoadFly guys sure had something to say about the E46 back in the day. But to your point though, it wasn't as hyped as the G8X reveal.

So the leaks are (obviously) real.

Blacked out, the M2 is gonna look really mean. I like it.

Yep, the E46 M3 was a love at first sight car for me too

It didn't have to grow on me or be in good lighting, it just worked.

I agree…….but that applies to most of the M3's to me. I was an early adopter for the E46, E9X and F8X. I would've bought the G8X, too, if it weren't for the 992 falling into my lap. I liked the E9X the least though. I had to talk myself into that car, and I never truly fell in love with it despite owning three of them.
