G87 M2 BMW Order / Waitlist

I drove my 700 whp 16 C7 Z06 the other day and Im thinking, no way is the M2 gunna feel like ur gunna hurl when u hit the gas. Im hoping its close to it. JB4, DP's, CAI, and midpipe swap.

My allocation was 07/29 and dealer called yesterday alerting to 10/03 arrival. Basically 2 months start to finish including a couple port installed options. Don’t feel too bad considering some of the incredible wait times posted here. YMMV

I got allocation at the end of July. The build sheet was submitted with Carbon Package and was accepted on 8/1. I got VIN number on 9/27, and scheduled for 10/11 production date.

My CA stated Friday arrival…then Saturday….then today.

Car is still not in. He stated last night “the truck driver called and said he would be here after hours, so stop by tomorrow morning (today) and check it out and we will get it to you Monday.

I’m starting to think my car is MIA.

It's quite insane. I too got the 7/29 allocation, and my car has not even entered the production line (no carbon buckets).

In any event, congrats on getting your car later this week. It will be epic.

It’s here!!! Won the tire lottery, but lost on the rear M brake clip lottery, haha.

Update: I just mentioned to my CA about the missing clips and he said “sure! I’ve have parts order them for you. They are $32.00 each.” I responded and asked my I would be charged for something that should have been on the car in the first place, no response yet.

They weren’t on my car either. My CA told me they are not listed as a replacement part number, but are listed as an add-on part number. Their M4 on the lot also does not have them. Who knows at this point.

Thanks! My CA walked around and saw the clips on all the other M brake set ups, but still wasn’t convinced….

I personally think they’re supposed to be on them. Looks shitty without.

I received my allocation and got the order in. Somehow, it's already ready for a week 43 (Oct 22nd) production. The only change I made from my initial build was to remove the wireless charger after seeing all the issues with the manual, and add the HUD
