Still showing status 193. Was told earlier this week that it was supposed to leave the port yesterday, but I haven't confirmed that anywhere.
Curious when I'll get to pick up the car~! |

I asked my CA today, it didn't ship from the port yet. So I'll be picking mine up next weekend since I'll be out of town for work.

CA still says it shows hasn't left the port yet.
Genius line agrees it's still at the VPC in Galveston and NOT assigned to a carrier. So close, but not yet... |

LOL
Did you have any port installed accessories/options? I have the MP HAS and the rear diffuser...might explain some of the extra time, so was just wondering if you had something as well. You could probably just go pick up your car at the port! |

I wonder if the MP HAS is keeping us there any longer than others who did not get it. Not terribly important at all, but still...or if all cars are being held up by available carriers out of the port, or something else. Last time I ordered a BMW a while back, my car did get held up at the port for emissions issues because it was one of the first batch of an LCI with a complete engine change. |

Has anyone here mix-and-matched carbon fiber pieces from different places?
I was wondering how noticeable the differences would be on a car, or if all the pieces have essentially the same carbon look, but just designed differently. Not even sure if my question is written in a way that makes sense, but here's to hoping it's clear! |

I was wondering how noticeable the differences would be on a car, or if all the pieces have essentially the same carbon look, but just designed differently. Not even sure if my question is written in a way that makes sense, but here's to hoping it's clear! Not all carbon weaves are created equally. Make sure you read closely as to what the carbon weave is on the product (2x2 or 1x1). I would find a brand and stick with that brand for pieces. Sure you’ll run into better deals etc but may have an issue with seeing differences in weaves and figment. I have had nothing but good experiences with products from RW carbon (mirror caps, diffuser, front lips). Great weave and fitnent |

I'm just trying to see what the options are out there, since each piece I am considering has a different brand/company's design at the top of the list. LOL And for the people with carbon roofs but getting aftermarket carbon pieces, I was thinking it would be similar enough, even if it wasn't a perfect match. But you do bring up a good point. |

Hi All:
Just checking in - mine is still showing status 165-RFT, using Google trick, so no movement at all in the past week. I haven't called genius and at this point, have no real reason to. abrandonment and xtougher, have either of you received any updates in the past day or two? |

It is still within the "normal" range of times cars have spent at this stage, and so I'm not too worried about it...just antsy because I'm looking forward to it! abrandonment You're out of the country, and BMR.WRLD is out of town...not a bad strategy during the wait! |

Just received a call from my CA saying it's been loaded on a carrier this morning.
Checked the website and it still says status 193, but many here have said the website would be a bit slower than information available to the CA. CA said they would get with me on when they think the car will actually arrive at the dealership to schedule delivery. BMR.WRLD Yours really could be ready by the time you get back! abrandonment Is your car currently in 195? Last edited by xtougher; 02-29-2024 at 09:51 AM.. Reason: typo |
