Need help in Houston for water pump/tstat replacement

I am in West Houston (Katy). My Behr radiator sprung a major leak along plastic siding (installed April 2021). Replacing it with a Nissens, which I can manage to install as a relatively new DIYer (recently replaced starter).

For a 2007 328i with 199K miles, I'm lucky my water pump and thermostat are still going!

So I think it would be prudent to replace them with the new radiator, and key cooling sys hoses. I'd appreciate any "spotter" help (willing to compensate). I have a fair indy shop where I usually get it serviced, but it would be good practice and a confidence builder the more I do it myself (and save lots of $$ .

Car is currently in my garage (2 windows for ventilation), have ramps, jack + 2 stands, basic tools.

Will have the following parts delivered by Sat EOD from FCP:

Coolant Recovery Tank Hose BMW-17127548224
Radiator Hose (upper) CRP-CHR0406R
Coolant Thermostat BOR-41008697D0
Coolant Hose CRP-CHE0409
Expansion Tank Hose CRP-CHE0573
Radiator Hose (lower) CRP-CHR0467
Engine Coolant Hose CRP-CHR0582
Radiator NSN-60786A
Electric Water Pump PIE-702851200

DM if interested/questions. Many thanks in advance!

A good project! I haven't done the pump for mine yet, but the rad and hoses are all pretty straightforward. You'll have to have the correct plugs for the radiator depending on your car. Auto trans is long/long. It comes with directions, but they aren't that straightforward.

I didn't see the expansion tank hose on your list. It probably needs to be replaced: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...in-17127618510

If you haven't done them already, while you have it torn down that much consider doing your oil filter housing gasket:

Also the MM flange and hose: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...in-11537545890

Have fun!
