I think the rotas look better if you have the other mods to support the look. That car looks amazing, but it is because it is lowered and the CSL trunk really sets it off. If you have these mods as well then the rotas get my vote. If you do not have those mods, gettem!

as for the look, it's all a matter of taste but I would never buy wheels with that much bad reputation regarding quality. it's just my opinion tho...

rotas don't have a bad reputation. I have 8 of them for my honda and track my car often, and never once had an issue.
All the fanbois are just mad that they can't sell their overpriced, overhyped 15" jdm blingblang wheels for $2,000 a set anymore. |

Different strokes for different folks, but I wouldn't call people that buy the real thing fan bois. Afterall, the real thing came out first didn't it??? I guess I can TRY to understand if they're going on a old honda, but on a bmw? kind of an expensive risk imo. There's plenty of cases where this happens. I think they do tend to have a bad reputation. lol. |

I've also seen pics of broken HRE's on a corvette, and broken jdm tom's wheels on a celica at buttonwillow. Those are the only wheels I've seen fail in person, though I'm sure there are more name brand wheels that have failed other than rota (on a car that didn't hit something like a curb). So I guess that means HRE's are terrible wheels too then.
yeah, you get what you pay for to a point, but who's to say the LC wheels he has now are better than the rotas? aren't they made in the same factory? |

you never know what's happen with this Rotas on the pics. I see pics from broken Porsche wheels and a member here in the forum posted a pic of his OEM BMW wheel which was broken after hit a pothole. so they are all bad reputation? and Linea Corses are made in the same factory as the Rotas... so are they bad reputation too? |
