335i Cat-back exhaust

Really interested with this exhaust, looks promising eh?

Anyone have them installed? are they worth it?

Unless they have a sound clip or something, I wouldn't buy it. I'd just stick to the companies that have rep cause you'll know you'll be satisfied.

Search Topspeed exhaust...seen it in person...very thin metal used...but for that price, you get what you pay for a FULL catback exhaust with RESONATORS! lol

I had the Top Speed exhaust. Same thing. It sucks bad without cats. It's a copy of HKS but a far cry from quality and sound.

+1. Very good explanation. I had it too...with catless downpipes...it was funny how loud and RICEY it was.

Just pay for the right product the first time around.

Umm.. question, does the Exhaust i posted above have cats? because i'm looking on going Catless DP but have secondary cats. Am i on the right track or did i fuck up?

No cats in that exhaust. To be fully catless, you'll need downpipes too.

i dont want to be fully catless though... just catless DPs and a secondary cat.. can you recommend a reasonably priced exhaust that would fit my needs? thanks!

There are none. Apparently since we drive bimmers its ok to stick us with a 1500 dollar price tag.

Whats up, my brother has this same exhaust (modified mufflers) and it sounds exactly the same as my friend w/ a gintani prototype. I personally love it and it hasn't had any problems yet, he goes to csun so if you see him wave hi and ask him to rev it for you, he won't mind i m sure.

No worries bro, he has a murdered out e90 w/ Kavka3 license plate. when you see him, just get his attention and he'll be more than happy to do it for you, i just don't know his schedule so you gotta be out on a hunt lol.

That definitely looks like a TopSpeed exhaust. I got mine on the car last Saturday along with 3" catless DPs. It sounds great unless you're @ WOT. I am still breaking in the mufflers though. If the sound is still high pitched @ WOT after 500-1000 miles, I'll look into upgrading the mufflers.
