$374k V $132k

Had a look at the Australian Porsche configurator this morning and optioned up a 911T to as closely match my Brooklyn grey G87. The closest hue Porsche has to Brooklyn grey was a paint to sample named `sport classic' at $20,340, the carbon fibre roof $7,470, the list goes on. My point is what amazing value for money the G87 is at $132,700 compared to the 911 Carrera T at $374,000...subjectively the 911 isn't $242,000 better than the amazing G87. For the record I have had three factory orders with Porsche and I can assure you there will not be a fourth at the prices they are now demanding when cars like the G87 exist.

Porsche has becoming an MLM scheme, and I completely refuse to support their shitty business practices. Things weren't this bad before COVID. Every time I've walked into a Porsche dealership since I've been treated like crap just to sit in a Cayman S or base Carrera and try to order something like a GTS or a GT4. Porsche can suck my balls. I wouldn't buy one even if I had the money to. Z06 and Audi R8 are more unique products for less money.

Agree totally, after waiting 18 months for an allocation for a 992 GTS and then told I couldn’t have the PTS colour because blah blah blah… I test drove a manual M2, placed my order and my car was built delivered and on the road within 5 months. I’ve had the M2 since January and absolutely loving the car… while over at Porsche I’ve heard nothing about the 992.2 which I’m on their wait list… and now everyday driving the M2 is everyday thinking I don’t need the 992 GTS!
This G87 M2 is an amazing luxe sports car at great value!

You were going to drop north of $180k (US) on a 992 GTS and backed out because you couldn’t get PTS then bought a black M2? Suuuuuurrreeee. The standard 992 color palate is very good, PTS (or dare I say PTS+) is the cherry though.
