All you need to do is rent a pipe expander. Then open up the stock pipe a bit and she will slip right in.

from watching demonstrations on youtube, it looks really unwieldy to do while lying underneath the car. i was just hoping and praying it would go in as easy as everyone on youtube makes it seem without using an expander.

This is all you need. A handful of turns and it slipped right in.

I actually had to take an Uber to Harbor Freight to buy this to finish the install

so it works? saw a yt vid saying only the really expensive expanders work. but i did notice when i was under the car that the pipe its supposed to attach to had slits/notched to maybe it was able to bend more easily with the expander. i guess ill give it a try. thank you and rdurty above for the suggestions.

Yes , it works . Put it in, expand it till its tight up against the inside of the exhaust pipe, then give it a handful of turns, take it out and see if goes in. No need to over do it . It just needs a very small amount of expansion

Just make sure you buy the Large HF exhaust pipe expander.

Harbor freight expander does the trick. Only takes a few minutes to do. Super easy to do laying under the car.

This is what 7 months of filth looks like on Apex VS-5RS forged wheels in Brushed Clear finish. Finally detailed the car yesterday.

The more important question is why did you wait 7 months to clean them!!!!

Very nice wheels nonetheless!

19x9 ET25 245/40/ZR19
19x10 ET38 275/35/ZR19

The staggered set is 0.5" wider all around so of course needed to go wider than stock. 255/35 or even 245/35 fronts would have exceeded the allowable 1% max circumference difference between the rear and the fronts. Also, it's what Apex recommends.

It was off ebay but they actually came from Walsall which is only 9 miles from me, and bizarrely, 300 yards from where I had them fitted!! Found this out after I had it done.

They didnt have them in black on their ebay listing

Dinan exhaust done along with their dual valve controller, pretty loud with valves open on stock downpipes. Louder in person than what other video shows in my opinion, sadly no sound clips.
