Gas/wheels locks is $169 (this one was increased a little due to the gas prices rising)
Ride Green certified is $399 (this is a combination for tire recycling fee, nitrogen in the tires and includes a $5000 voucher for if your car gets stolen)
Rubber mats $269 (this is the only one that is optional)
Admin fee $399
Air con tax $100
OMVIC fee $10
Lender fee $35 (for lease/finance purchase)

Pretty normal dealer fees in Ontario marketplace.

Interesting. 530 CAD less then BMW.ca "Freight & PDI". It seems a portion of those costs are dealer discretionary.
BMW.ca is not a accurate tool for anything

Without premium package you cannot added shadow line headlights. Here is a photo of base headlights vs shadowline. No phone has been released for the adaptive headlights without shadowline but i am guessing they are similar to the M240i.

I disagree. I am of course fine w/ that option being available to those who want it but I have no interest in it and I am glad it doesn't come w/ it.

If so, you have to add ZPP to have the second option. I am a bit bummed about that but that is OK. Looks like the first headlight look for me.

Some dealers do not budge on this. I walked away from a dealer where I might have been higher on the order list due to this. They had a this "option" as mandatory + battery charger wiring totaling 1,100 CAD. It wasn't the money; it was the principle. Very off putting.

I had another CA telling me since the dealer were doing me a favor by sticking to MSRP on the car. Also, that it was only fair the dealer wanted to make money on those BS add-ons. I chuckled and told him that they were already making money on the car. There was an invoice price not visible to me lower than the MSRP. BMW Canada saw fit and fair that the profit over invoice should be satisfactory.

I despise the whole car buying system and bad practices to charge ADM. It should be sticker price and first come first serve for order. For cars on the lot immediately available that were ordered for the dealer, sure, go ahead.

I would hope it is accurate for MSRP numbers. Other items that are discretionary and variable depending on geography and individual dealers should be clearly delineated.


It is not. The base MSRP is accurate but as soon as you go into configure it adds in an inaccurate freight and PDI total into the price.
