I've put about 1,000 miles on it since I picked it up. I have 0 complaints so far. I've yet to experience the phantom thump in the suspension, or any of the other weird issues I've seen reported here. I did get my first rock chip (thanks to a truck with an unsecured load but it's on the grille piece and not the paint, so whatever for now).
I'm getting around 26-28mpg most weeks (thanks to highway driving for work). The car is an all around monster for daily driving. Fast when you need it to be yet quiet and comfortable if you want.
Thanks, and I am glad you enjoyed every piece of it. I picked the car up on Friday and then on Saturday the Tornado hits, and the car was in a mess (thank God it just got dirty). The initial impression was it drives so smooth for a ICE car, almost as good as the electric car (I daily a Tesla M3P). But I need to spend more time with it to explore more functionalities.

Does anyone have a guesstimate how much longer do I still have to wait?

My G87 was missed August production and fleet manager told me it would be in Sept production, I thought it was going to be late September but online is showing "Ready for Transit". Any ideas on how long to get to port from San Luis Potosi Plant to to Port of Lazro Cardena and then to Port Hueneme?

mine was ready to transport 8/30 , then September 14 awaiting carrier and 20 minutes later in transit they don't update it it could be at port or way past it call your salesman he told it was at port when it said ready to transport, so I didn't know what to believe, but I should get mine this week or next it's in NJ waiting to go to NY where I live, the website isn't correct, but you should have soon, I also ordered mine around Xmas 22 and getting real soon it's close by , good luck

So far it's looking like 3 weeks to 6 weeks is normal and average for 'Ready For Transport'

I'm sure there are outliers . Hopefully I'm on the shorter side

Seems like the case. I saw mine go backward in the tracker. I put down a deposit on 10/17 on one that was finishing production. Then it went from "Ready for Transport" all the way to "In transit" around 10/20 but then flipped back to "At the Port" late last week.

Anyway I'll call the genius tomorrow to see if they can tell me what ship it's going to load onto or whatever.

I thought that going back to "in port" from "in transit" means that your car arrived in the destination country and got off the ship?

That would be great news Though it seems odd for it to go to the previous step in the sequence to show that, but perhaps that's what happens.

Mine did the same thing and we are “fairly close”, I’m in PNW with week 41 build. So hopefully that’s it!

Confirmed with a genius rep that this is indeed the case. It's showing that vehicle has arrived in Oxnard CA. 😁

Mine arrived this past Saturday the 11th. If anyone cares about a timeline for reference: about 28 days from "Awaiting carrier assignment" to arriving at the dealership in Idaho

Angry Ive been in "ready to transport" for 46 days

I was wondering how long this process takes, I submitted my order in novmber last year and was quoted 14 weeks maximum, im on week 25.

My quality control took 2 months. I was told it was because I added a splitter and pro comp steering wheel.

how long can I expect the rest of this process to take?

Does ready to transport mean its already on the boat?

Could they have missed a scan and its on a boat?

Ive heard boat to dealership normally takes 7 days and the boat ride takes 15 to east coat usa.

Usually, once it's actually scheduled to be on a specific boat, Genius can tell you which one it's on. My car has been on RFT for about a week and a half now, but I emailed the Genius folks and was told that my car is on the way to the port. The Genius rep said that once the car is assigned to a specific ship, the status will change to "at the port". You might well entirely skip over "awaiting carrier assignment" and "dispatched from the factory".

Once it lands in the US, it'll be sent to a VPC and then on to your dealer. If you don't have any port-installed upgrades, that process shouldn't take too long, although if there was damage in transit, it could be at the VPC for longer.

Genius can tell you for sure if your car is either on the way to the port or at the port waiting. Feels like a lot of this confusion, which I've been dealing with myself, could be avoided if the SLP factory kept trackers updated more accurately.

That is a long wait you've been dealing with. Hope things move more quickly for you soon.
