Traction control flashes and loss of power
Hey guys so I’ve been having a strange issue for a while trying to get to the bottom of it. It all started after the transfer case control module was replaced and programmed to the car the front wheels weren’t engaging previously due to water damage from the sunroof drains. The t-case fluid was changed when the module was replaced. I only really get this issue either going up hills or driving fast the traction control light will turn on and a loss of power after that.
I never had this issue when the transfer case wasn’t working but from what I’ve read online this is generally cause by the reluctor rings rubbing against the wheel speed sensors but I have pulled the sensors as well as monitoring the data while driving and found that all the sensors were working a few miles of each other. However the front sensors show little scratches in them but the reluctor rings look fine and the passenger side is a new cv axle that was replaced when I first got the car. The only code I’m throwing is for the water pump 002e85 water pump missing but that also seems to be working fine not sure if it’s related but any help is appreciated. |
