Help dirty diesel suspected

My engine management light is flashing then goes off,
I have recently filled the car and suspect dirty diesel.
The car loses power and feels that no fuel is going to engine when light flashes. Struggles when I turn right and accelerate. I'm thinking of getting the fuel tank drained and the system flushed if it will fix the problem. Fuel was from the big supermarket and all the problems started just after filling up. Any theories would be appreciated.

If you suspect dirty fuel shouldn't your first port of call be to check the fuel filter for dirt?

I would've thought a big supermarket would be less likely to have dirty fuel simply due to high turnover, but maybe it's a faulty batch of fuel (it's not unknown) contact the supermarket & ask if anyone else has complained. If you can drain the tank try a few gallons of fuel from somewhere else!
