M240i Ordered…help pick a wheel!

Currently have an F90 M5 and just ordered a 2024 M240i xDrive in Portimao Blue Metallic. I didn’t go with the ZTK High Performance package, so looking to replace the stock rims and tires with a meatier option.

Going with 20x9 et25 on 245/35-20 up front and 20x10.5 et32 on 275/30-20 in the rear. I’ve narrowed it down to three rims from ESR Wheels that I like. I am torn and need some help on picking one, let me know your thoughts…picture of options below

I like all 3 of those. Probably the RF11 for me - I like the multi spoke look.

With 10.5 at ET32, you will be 9.5mm closer to the strut and you won't be able to fit spacers because you will already be 'poking' by an additional 15.5mm

Why not go with a 10 inch rim, to which you can still fit 275/30s and the wheel will be lighter.

I really want a 10” rim, but these three are either 9.5” or 10.5”

Do you think a 10.5” will fit flush, with no strut issues, if the offset is right? If so, any offset suggestion? Trying to avoid spacers. If the 10.5s won’t fit properly, then I need to find a different rim…

Thx

Well, I have 9.5 ET30 at the rear and my wheels are fairly flush - I could maybe get another 10mm without them being obviously poking. Note though that I don't have the fender flares, which add another 4mm to the width of the fenders.

10.5 ET32 vs 9.5 ET30 is 10.5mm more poke so you'd be fine, particularly if you have fender flares. However, you'd also be 14.5mm closer to the strut than me. There is way more room to the strut at the back than at the front, so maybe this will be OK, although with a 275 tyre, my guess is you risk rubbing. The problem then is that if you need to fit a spacer, you are almost certainly going to end up poking beyond flush.

None of the UK tuning retailers (AutoID, Motech, R44 etc) have gone bigger than 10" at the rear. You could look at Apex Wheels excellent thread on here which might give you some guidance, but you should also talk to ESR and see if they have the wheel well dimensions for the G42 and ask them to confirm fit without spacers.
