On the west coast, my car just changed to In Transit again this morning. I’m assuming this is on the truck to the dealer.

Congrats, Let us know when you flip to in transit! Also are you sure it’ll be in Baltimore on the 8th, it says it gets to Brunswick on the 13th on their website.

No, not sure , that's the info I got from him and he said he reached out to BMW distribution. will see how it goes.

Haha ok I think it’s impossible it gets to Baltimore on May 8 I think it leaves the Altamira port on May 8 and begins its journey to Brunswick and then Baltimore.

I hear you, man. I'm still RFT as well and if my car had made it onto Glovis Sun, I am pretty sure my CA would have contacted me.

Really frustrating that they can't seem to move these cars in any kind of timely fashion.

The only ship on the incoming list for Veracruz that might be picking up our cars is called Tanabata. It's a WW ship, but their schedule shows it going down to Panama then a different ship, Oberon, running from Panama to New York, arriving 6/1. Oberon has stops in Brunswick, Baltimore, and Newark, then it heads to Bremerhaven. So I don't know if they would pick up our cars on Tanabata then transfer them to Oberon. If that's not what's going to happen, I have no idea when these cars will leave Mexico.

At this point, my last thin hope is that my car is sitting at Altamira and Glovis Sun, which is sitting at anchor waiting for a berth, will pick it up there.

I'm hoping for the same thing... my car getting loaded at Altamira. Combed the posts on the forums for posts re: Altamira and it looks like they send overflow cars there once Veracruz hits its limit. Fingers crossed...

Just took delivery of mine tonight. My final timeline was:

1/31/24 - Order Accepted (Dealer's previous order allocation)
3/3/24 - Order updated to my specs, deposit made (Thundernight M240i xDrive)
3/15/24 - In Production (status 150), build date 4/11/24, VIN assigned
3/27/24 - Build date changed to 4/10/24
4/10/24 - Entered Production through Final Assembly
4/16/24 - Ready for Transport
4/28/24 - Loaded on Cepheus Leader at Lazaro Cardenas, MX - no status change
4/30/24 - In Transit
5/2/24 - At The Port - ship docked and unloaded at Port Hueneme, CA
5/5/24 - In Transit
5/6/24 - Arrived at dealer (Bellevue, WA), took delivery

Just changed to “At the Port” which is the first change in 3 week. So it looks like (ohpleaseohplease) it’s boarding the Glovis Sun at Altamira today. I didn’t notice that she was anchored outside of Altamira all weekend and not actually in port until this morning. This suggests that May 8 really is the departure date from Altamira.

Update: 8:45 EST (12:45 UTC) Changed to In Transit!

Woke up to the same change this morning. 24 days of "Ready for Transport", and it skipped over 3 spots to "At the Port" overnight. I have been checking the computer at least once a day waiting for this to change. Funnily, the phone app changed this morning too! It's been stuck at "Final Assembly" since April 12 and now reads "Ready for Transport". It's been one step behind the computer the whole way through this journey. I hope the app works better once it's paired to the car.
There is some hope left for us East Coasters yet!

congrats all around! I'm officially at "In Transit"! Genius confirmed Glovis Sun and estimates a 5/17 arrival in Joisey.

edit: meanwhile my app changed to RFT. lol how utterly useless that thing is, at least in terms of tracking orders.

Just an FYI, the Brunswick port site has changed the arrival of GS to 5/15...which makes me wonder how it's going to arrive at Newark on 5/17 if it also has to stop at Baltimore. The email from Genius said "arrival at the United States by 5/17", now that I re-read it.

Meh, what's a few days at the end after all of this waiting.

Edit: now that I look at the schedule more carefully, it will both arrive and depart Brunswick on 5/15. If the port stops are only 10 hours each, it could get to Baltimore and then on to Newark pretty quickly.

Lol yeah the tracking on the app is useless, but I guess it gets us to download the app, so maybe that’s the point. I’m also going through Jersey and I’m happy with 5/17, which probably means dealership the week of 5/20. Just in time for Memorial Day traffic!

ETA: Oh it makes sense that all dates got pushed back 2 days by the delay getting into Altamira, so I’ll assume Elizabeth NJ on 5/19.
