Frozen Grey - WOW!

The new M2 has been slowly growing on me more and more as something I may look into if I decide it's time to swap out my daily use car next year. I saw one this morning in the frozen grey at my detailers shop while picking up a car, and I was shocked at how well the car wears the color.

I came to this forum and seems there's not a ton of media, just wanted to say that I think you all who are fans of the design already are going to LOVE it in the grey!

On a sad note, heard yesterday that my long loved (and hopeful to buy-back) F80 was totaled out.

If it were available when I purchased mine, it would've been my preferred color.

It's odd that the matte colour doesn't make it eaven more square

Comes from the metal flake in the paint. The orientation of flakes plays a role in the color of the paint. (My arctic silver 996 Turbo the paint had no color in it. The color was all down to the size/shape/orientation of the metal (aluminum) particles in the paint.)

Looking at the car from different angles, with the sunlight at different angles, can have various panels looking slightly different, like they are a different shade/tint.

One of the most chameleon like cars was the 1996 Mustang Cobra which could be had with Mystic paint.

My 2020 Challenger Scat Pack in Hellraisin' (dark metallic purple) had a bit of chameleon like color thing going on.

Wow indeed!!! I just picked mine up - Frozen Grey exterior + Cognac leather interior.

I might be biased but I think it's the best combination you can spec on your M2. I will post some pictures later.

I backed out of Cognac at the very last minute. Stoked to see how yours looks.

Frozen Gray is my favorite color on a car I've owned, and I never thought I would prefer anything more than my previous Daytona Gray Pearl Audis.

Plus the right color wheels (who actually likes black?) make a big difference.

I am seriously considering replacing the stock black 826M. Debating between 963M and bronze 826Ms like yours.

Looks like the 963Ms are only sold in matte gunmetal grey not sure how that will look with the frozen frey. The 826Ms in bronze look great and I am definitely leaning more towards this thanks to your picture

Man, the more I look at this color the more tempted I am to swing for the fences and change up the spec.
