CAI for 335d
Has anyone found a CAI (or any non factory intake) for the 335d, US spec? Maybe I'm blind, but I've not rustled one up yet.

I don't really know how diesel engines work, they sure need air for combustion but I have never heard about aftermarket intakes for diesel engines

In our experience CAIs do not provide any performance benefit to BMW diesels - this may be one reason why you have not found any such products.
A 335d that ran at Fighting Torque last year put down an impressive time against other performance cars over 7/8ths of a mile (standing start) with just our tune and a standard air box and filter. |
