Diesel sub-forum?

Wondering if a diesel sub-forum for all the M57 and x35d owners/fans out there, would be worth adding? I would LOVE to have a sub-forum for the d's seeing that there are very few similarities to their petrol counterpart.

It's been done on other boards. I agree, it would be very nice, especially if it conspicuous enough to be found as people buy the d.

You may/may not want to check out the diesel forums over at tdiclub.com. Fantastic community of turbo diesel owners. Unfortunately it is primarily for VW/AUDI diesels, but they do have a small subsection for non-VAG cars.

Otherwise I agree, this community needs a dedicated diesel forum!

Hahaha! Perfect out of context comment! But I definitely think there should be a diesel sub-forum.

As soon as I get mine, should be within this year, :cross fingers: I will be putting up a TON of DIYs and info about the 335d! I am an avid hobby mechanic and DIY all of my own repairs.

I agree, there should be a sub-forum for diesels.

Love diesels.

I'm interested in a diesel sub-forum too. It's difficult to find related posts to the 335d.

After speaking with a mod on this site, I guess there are no plans to open a Diesel sub-forum.

I would suggest that we email or PM the mods to see if we can get one started. I would imagine if there was enough interest from others on the forum, it may happen.

True, but it is a single thread. DieselBimmer.com is an entire board and has multiple threads. It just needs active members that post.

I registered there, but the mod has never activated my account. That probably explains why there are so few posters.
