313M alloys 8J square set

Hello guys I have an E90 325i LCI SE and I am thinking of buying the 313M 19 inch alloys in a square set with 19x8J all around. Instead of the staggered set being 19x8J and 19x9J.

I want to have a good tyre profile as there are too many bumps and pot holes in my area and I was thinking of having 235/40/19 for the front 2 wheels and 255/40/19 for the rear wheels.

I’ve only seen people have 35’s for the tyre profile with 8J. Will I have a problem putting 40 on instead as I don’t want any cracks, welds or buckles.

I have not played around with the suspension and car is also stock. Nothing has been changed at all in terms of performance.

Please let me know what you think. Thanks

I think those tyres will be waaaaay too tall and will cause you issues with potential rubbing and may make your speedometer underread. Additionally, a 255 tyre is too wide for an 8J wheel.

I have the staggered 19" 313 wheels and run 235/25 on the 8J front wheels and 255/35 on the 9J rear wheels. I'll likely drop down in profile to 265/30 tyres at the rear.

If you want to run 235/40 tyres I would recommend a square setup with 18" 8J wheels.

Alternatively, consider 313 @ 18" instead of 313M @ 19"

I was looking at getting the 313 18 inch alloys but apparently they won’t fit my car properly. Idk if what i read was 100% accurate but it was something about the offset.

I think there were 2 variations of 313 @ 18":
- 135is - may not fit E90 LCI
- 335is - should fit any E90 LCI

I am not an expert on offset, but these 36116791998 & 36116791999 worked well on my E90 335d LCI

Thanks for the recommendation. After many months I’ve still not found the right alloys or maybe I’m just spoilt for choice. I was either thinking 313M alloys 8J all around and do 225/235 like you said. Do you think the 442M alloys will fit the E90? They are 19x8J but have a different offset.

I have the 18" 313 that were meant for the 1 series. The local shop installed it by getting 4 rears for the 1 series and also spacers. Been driving it for over 2 years now.
Love 313, 18" with regular tyres and ditched the run flats.
