I just checked mine again and I’m at final assembly! My prod date is 9/19 so that makes sense But we bought our 2018 m550 in Springfield, I actually grew up there. I tried reaching out to our CA there thru email to see if I could get an allocation sooner but he never responded. Paul Miller (where I bought my m240 conv) had one immediately but wanted $5k over MSRP for a “ceramic coating that they put on all M cars” and I said no thank you I’ll wait. If I have it by my bday in Nov I’ll be happy! |

$5k for ceramic coating sounds super high. Doesn't that only last like a year or two? I will be doing a PPF coating around the car though. It worked so well on my last car. I'm feeling the same way though--as long as it's here by November, I'll be thrilled! Hoping the best for both of us! |

Hello all,
MY 24, 6-M, Brooklin Gray, JB Wheels, Cognac, CF Trim, LP & SP, LCP. 8/4 Allocation 9/8 Scheduled for production Not entered production as of yet CA said week 39 build at allocation. CA estimated mid to late Oct. delivery to San Antonio area.... I started limiting myself to morning, noon, and late evening checks to Tracker...surprising how much more time I have to do other things.... |

Then I went to Bridgeport, they were nice, but very disorganized. But said I'd be #3 on their list and they are #2 in volume in CT. So I put my deposit there. They let me test drive an F87 M2 Comp. So it was a nice contrast G87 vs F87. I liked both, but F87 feels dated now, like a generation behind, which it is. Bridgeport had *a lot* of activity. My CA sold a 4-series while I had to take a work call in the parking lot. So my take is Darien is nicer, but Bridgeport has a lot more volume.

Funny enough I got #6 on the list, and #5 dropped out when it was time to pull the trigger so I’m getting earlier than expected. |
