All it's doing is pulling in fresh air and blowing it out the other end. It's not like you're pulling in air close to the ground. It's no different than driving on the expressway.

If your floor is dirty or doing it on a gravel driveway, just be careful not to aim too far down towards the ground or just keep aiming upwards, like blowing from the bottom of the door upwards and it "should" keep the dirt from blowing or clean the garage floor before hand if your concerned

To add to this; it usually isn't a concern since the ground is already wet from washing the car which negates any dust. Just need to use common sense.

You wash your car in the garage?

Also, dont need tonuse an Echo gas powered commercial leaf blower. It is also good for the inside of the car (the seats) and then vacuum the floors.

Yes sir. When it is below freezing and the garage is heated it is the only way!

If your car is coated a blower of some sort is the way I prefer to dry the car. Water just falls off at that point! After I coat them, very rarely will a towel ever touch the paint again. Although even after using the blower I will tuck a towel into the door corner to catch the constant drips for a bit. I use a BigBoi brand blower and it works great.

Start the proper car washing training early so it has time to sink in.

Modern automatic car washes have come a long way in terms of paint safety. Many now use softer materials and advanced technology to minimize the risk of scratches. However, it's still essential to choose a reputable car wash with a good Opener track record. Hand washing is always gentlest, but the right automatic wash can be safe for your paint if well-maintained.

So since I wrapped my whole car with PPF, my detailer gave me a spray that he said I can literally use in my garage. Just spray and wipe away. I need to look into it further, but that might be what I do instead of a car wash.

PPF can still be scratched so be cautious of just "spray detailing" it. I would still wash it to a degree but yes, assuming you want to freshen it up and there is no sand or grit that will scratch it, you could use a aoray like Adam's Detail Spray (my go to).

Awesome, thank you! Yeah, I definitely plan to use it sparingly, but I'll check out that product.

The DIY car wash bays near me use hot water on some of its settings. I’ve only done the high pressure rinse and soap, then hand dried it and sometimes apply a spray shine product if I have time and if you look up close I’m already seeing small scratches 🤷🏻‍♂️

Am I understanding correctly that you rinse your car with high pressure water and then dry it with a towel?
No contact washing?

I'm the only person I trust to wash my cars....and NEVER the dealer that very kindly warns their customers that scratches may (Will) result from their cash washing efforts.

That being said, there's nothing more painful than sticking your hand into a bucket of cold soapy water on a frigid Canadian winter day.

That all changed when I picked up this soap canon. No more buckets for me, and I now wash my car in half the time.

Drying is a high-speed run down the motorway...followed by a towel-down. Oh, and I make sure I get my brakes good and hot otherwise the rear pads fuse to the rotor.

That is correct. I do a high pressure rinse, then use the spray soap function then rinse again. I pull it out from the bay and hand dry it in the sun.

Sometimes I will use a Chemical Guys product for extra shine and smoothness but it’s all done by hand.
