I have 2011 335i for the las couple weeks I noticed a loud noise when I start the car coming from intake and also a hissing noise when accelerating between 2 & 3000 rpm I have a Injen intake and a vrsf charge pipe any ideas what can be wrong with... how can I upload a video[IMG]

Are you sure it's not turbo spooling noise? With aftermarket intake with filter exposed, the noise is more noticeable and a bit louder.

Check all the bolts and o-rings placement, on charge pipe as well.. I don't really know what to tell you...

See if you are hitting boost target. If not, you might have a vacuum leak. Valve cover cracks on the N55 could cause vacuum leaks due to the PCV system being integrated into the valve cover.

I found the problem a was the boost control solenoide valve $112 easy to replace

i just installed an intake on my m235 about a week ago and thought these were normal intake/turbo noises.... guess ill check mine out tomorrow for some kind of leaks
