PDX dealer service

Need to visit a dealer service dept. for a quick quote - where should I go, Kuni or bmw of Portland ? (America's Tire damaged something in the console between the rear seats; to their honor they promised to take care of the costs).

guess I'll continue my thread here given the overwhelming success...

I got the notification reg. parts availability for the takata airbag recall. anyone in PDX done it yet ? where and how was it ? have any SA's to recommend ?

I take my car to Kuni. Its been a while since I was there, but David was my SA. He was the younger David. For other work, I have had AR in Lake Oswego do things for me... Good luck

I know I'm late on this one, but yeah, go to Kuni. BMW of Portland has poor quality control when it comes to their service dept. I bought my e90 there, and have had it serviced there under warranty, and there were times that I got the car back and was able to reproduce the problem in the parking lot, or was able to point out something that was Obviously not put back together correctly.

Yes, I bought my current e90 used at Kuni~4 mos ago. Had some issues so I took it in on Sunday, their service dept was closed but my sales guy gave me a loaner and kept my car there. They ran tests on the car for 3+ days and found that the Vanos unit had issues and they fixed it under warranty. They seem to do their due diligence at Kuni when it comes to service. I would recommend them over BMW of Portland.
