Called the genius and they said my production has begun and there is an estimated completion date of 21 April. Hope they are right.

Eh it'll be back soon enough. The anime was way too close to the manga. Boruto is having the same issue except they have the budget to pump out filler seasons lol

I agree. I am not even sure the information they gave me is accurate. When I ordered my M340 in 2019, it was a much smoother process.

My manager told me he's hopeful for a June delivery but not seeing it move in almost 3 weeks, alongside reading this thread has me thinking otherwise

you're not gonna have a vin till 1-2 weeks before it actually enters production. If you don't have a production number then you don't have an allocation at all. Not sure how your advisor is pulling a production week out of his ass if he doesn't have a prod # for you. Also, last week was week 14 (I think) just for reference

Just Wonderful. Trying to think about what to do. Might go to BMW and have them show me my allocation to make sure I have my spot reserved

I would say press your sales guy and/or sales manager to find out if they actually have a production number (allocation) or not. It seems really weird that he/she threw out a production week if they don't have an allocation.

It could be the case that they had the production number and your sales guy just has no idea what that is or that they don't want you to track the build with the delays and all that are happening. Who knows ...

I've been waitting for 3 months since i got production number in day 1 i placed order. Dont know how long u would wait without production number now

Decided to go to BMW to get things sorted out and I got my production number finally. Still in 112 so waiting for prod date

Went on myBMW and noticed that my build doesn't include the red Msport brakes that I thought I ordered. Just the OEM blue ones. Not much of a problem but they missed that I think.

June delivery is the target set by BMW for the builds that just went back to 111 recently, including mine. If I recall correctly, Genius said mine was moved back to w21 and some others were moved back to w23, hopefully these are both placeholders, but even if it was w21 production start, it could, if no delays or issues occur, make it to the dealership by end of june most likely. But yeah hopefully these are all placeholders and we get bumped back up to w17 or w18 or something sooner

It went to 111 last week and today it back to 112. Genius said mine build week 19. Hopfully no more delay 😭

How did u get that information, my schedule is week19, hope this is last time for reschedule. I was expected to get a car in 3 months, now 2.5 months still in 112
