I’m going to be optimistic that all these week 19 and 20 builds are a good sign. I believe the engines for the M240s are still made in Germany and some of the components for them are made in Ukraine. So I can understand the delays. Also makes sense they would batch them as the parts come in. Trying to be glass half full.

Morning all. I checked with the genius yesterday and I’m also still at week 20, status 111. No confidence it won’t move again. I’ll wait as long as it takes, but I can’t say I’m not disappointed.

Still bumped to week 24.
My dealer as of Friday 4/15, said the 23s were pushed back to september. This looks like BMW is trying to play catchup on thier 22 orders. |

So I have been stuck at production begins for a couple weeks. I called the genius today and they state I am in production with a projected completion date of 21 April. My garage still stays stuck at production begins.....
3/18 Placed on allocation list. 3/24 Received allocation 3/25 Placed order 3/26 Scheduled for production week 14 4/1 Delayed to week 16 4/5 Entered production queue with VIN assigned 4/18 Still at Production Begins but genius says expected completion 21 April |

I wonder if it is a dealer size thing or a regional allocation issue. BMW San Antonio bills itself as the largest BMW dealer in Texas...perhaps that translates into more allocations and preferential scheduling?
