DO NOT buy from stealthauto.com !!!
DO NOT buy from stealthauto.com !!! I bought a pair of angel eyes from them a few months ago. The lights failed within 2 months and they refuse to RMA the product. They are claiming some bullshit about them not being under warranty because I bought them on sale. (regardless that their site says their products have a lifetime warranty)
These people are completely unprofessional and are downright thieves. If you have money to blow, please give it to a homeless person instead. At least they will say thank you.

Dear Rotary Rasp,
We were shocked to see your post and want to respond to it so you (and everyone else interested) can see the whole story... First of all we have no records of you ever purchasing anything from Stealth Auto, can you can provide a receipt or order number? You claim that you bought items from us at Bimmerfest, if so you would have seen our disclaimer on our booth. Bimmerfest is a car show, and it’s basically like a swap meet, in the past we have taken items to sell at the show and we pretty much sell them at our cost to give the attendees something to look forward to. If you did in fact purchase them at Bimmerfest you paid somewhere between $ 40-60 dollars not the $120 you said you paid on your for sale post. We had a disclaimer listed that all sales were final and items were sold as is. As an extra measure we even told the customers that they had two weeks to contact us if they were unhappy with any items and that we would give them a full refund for the items they purchase at our show. So apparently you used them from May until December and then decided to sell them on e90post. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=626131 They were sold to another forum member (rubeus86) I had this customer email us saying that one of the components of the angel eyes were bad and he wanted a replacement. We told him that since he was not the original purchaser of the items and had no proof of purchase we could not offer any warranty coverage. You sold the items to another forum member; he is now the second owner not the original purchaser; even if we were to warranty the item that you bought at bimmerfest our warranty claims and guarantees apply to the original customer. Once you sell an item that you have purchased from us all warranty and guarantees are null and void, and it’s not just us, go contact any major company you would like, everyone has a similar policy. Try walking into Best buy and saying that you bought a TV from someone used but you want them to fix it now because they sold it to the original customer??? Then you contacted us stating that the person you sold it to had returned the items, and now you were stuck with them. At that point we could have stuck with our policy and told you to take a walk, instead our guys said that they would send you out a replacement part, the only condition was that you pay for shipping, which was $6.95. Or we stated that you can come into our office and pick it up for free…. Now that is where you tried to threaten us saying “You can ignore me all you want, but I guarantee my words won't go unheard when I post my horrible experience with stealthauto on e90post and bimmerpost. Ask yourself this, is the $7 worth the loss of business from arguably your largest market channels?” We do not take well to threats, and that is where we did tell you to take a hike, we stand by our products and have thousands of happy customers. We will not have you threaten us, saying that if we don’t do what you want us to do; you’ll go and tell everyone on the forums. We have always operated our business in a fair and professional manner and we have a great track record. Unfortunately there are always a very small percentage of customers that no matter what you do they will never be satisfied. Now this is directed to rubeus86, we are deeply sorry you had such a bad experience with Rotary Rasp and hope this experience doesn't leave you with a bad feeling towards Stealth Auto. I would like to send you out a free pair of stealth bulbs, or a pair of our H8 Halogen angel eye bulbs, you can contact us and we will send then items out to you free of charge. -Stealth Auto Team (310) 312 5555 |

You guys are so full of shit, I don't even know where to start. You guys told me to take a hike long before I promised to post on the threads. Promised, not threatened....
Also, you guys don't even know what price you sold them for at bimmerfest. They were NOT $40-$60! (if they were, then you owe me $60 cause you ripped me off) It's just one lie after another with you people. I've come to terms with the crap you sold me. I've just trying to prevent others from having to deal with your crap. BUYERS BE WARNED!

OP could not even came with a reasonable excuse. But i liked the method he makes money. Buy when it is cheap, use it and sell to someone in forums for more than the price you purchased.

OP it seems you are the one who is full of shit, unless you can provide a valid receipt of purchase for the full price.

Why would need to come up with a excuse? My method of making money is honest, unlike stealthauto's. In fact, I used to do free coding for members.

I don't have a receipt because I was never given one. The guy who sold me the lights was named Tommy. It's funny how they claim they don't remember me now, but in my first email to them several months ago, Tommy said remembered me from bimmerfest....

yes, I was the original purchaser. Like I said, Tommy remembered me when I first emailed them. Seller did not have any such sign up on their booth.
Were you at bimmerfest to see the sign? if so, provide proof. Otherwise, thread open.

We will go ahead and extend our original offer, you can either pay for shipping of the replacement part out to you, or you can come pick them up in our store for free, we will however need the defective item in return. We are not trying to take advantage of you or anyone else, we just want to be fair, rubeus86 has already contacted us and we are sending him out a free pair of H8 bulbs. - Stealth Auto Team |

Excellent! Then this thread has served it's purpose. I'm glad you were able make things right, I just wish it didn't have to come to this. I've since moved on to HID angel eyes and have no desire to go back.

I too was at bimmerfest and purchased some angel eyes for my previous e90 (which worked flawless) and there was no sign on their booth that said sold as is. But at least stealth auto stepped up (which most companies won't do) and made things right.
