thanks for your reply guys? Do you think leasing or buying with this deal? I do want to keep this car for a while but I might change my mind in about 3-4 years. My last BMW was a lease but now since I am getting married..2 door does not work

Only you can answer this question... If you want to keep the car for a while and you can afford the down payment and higher monthly payments why on earth would you lease? If selling in 3 to 4 years is the route you end up taking you will have built-up significant equity in the car which would allow you to either sell it or trade it and use that money to put down on another vehicle.

Thanks all. Yeah lease vs buy is really a personal choice but I was thinking since I know there will be a new redesigned 3 series next year which would bring down the value even further down even if I want to trade this car in about 5 years. so I might be better of leasing but I like the idea of ownership of a bmw diesel since from the reviews I have read the engine can last forever!

Take a hard look at your past car buying behavior. Do you like new cars every 2 to 3 years? If so..lease.
Either way, you go a smoking deal on the 335d. Congrats!

does the eco credit still apply if you lease? I know the tax credit doesn't but that's no longer an incentive anyway.
You can lease and opt to but at the end. This way you can get into a new ride after 3-4 years or buy it out. You enjoy cheaper monthly payments and you can start saving up to buy it out. It's your call, either way you will love the d! |
