Fyi you made this post a voting poll, however it's ok because you're new, I used to be a scrub too (still am to be honest).
I personally have a jb4 on my car and it's at best "alright" I would check out MHD, Its an app that you can download on to your ANDROID phone/tablet and tune your car yourself, Its cheaper than a jb4 and it performs identically to the jb4. Or better yet, A JB4 with an mhd backend flash. However that's probably to confusing for you atm. Best thing I would recommend is to browse around a bit on the forums, and google MHD vs jb4 and what not as theirs plenty of threads to look at. Best of luck!

Stay away from Dinan tunes . I have one on mine (for now) and its very conservative. For the priceower gains ration compared to other tunes, its not worth the extra money. I will be going a completely different route for a tune anyways but for simplicity, go JB4 but get a new one, not a used JB4 (imo)
Also, since youre a California guy, id recommend getting a FMIC and a BMS oil cooler valve too to help keep temps down in the warm weather. Downpipes will net a lot of power gains but smogging will be an issue unless you know somebody. Goodluck and have fun! |
