Pre-LCI M-Sport mudflaps?

Hi,

Can I get these anywhere?
Has there ever been mud flaps for Pre-LCI M-Sport?
What is the difference of normal trim and M-Sport?
Could normal trim mud flaps be used with slight modifications?

I'm rather suspisious of plastic wheel liners being adequate for winter/transition use in long term. Icy gravel roads or salt with sand mixed in bakes on and rarelly a chance to wash the car during winter because of sub freezing temperatures.

I didn't know BMW came out with a e90 WRX trim. Looks like there's only one option on flaps. No specific non-msport flaps, could be wrong.

LCI Mud Flaps look different too.
