My car has this in Aus. Easily one of the best features of owning a modern car. Seeing it work in action is like magic. Hope you guys get it sorted!

In BimmerCode, for the G42 do you guys select 2 series coupe or 3 series/m3? I remember in the past people saying they code as if it's the G20 but could be wrong.

Or is the G42 now supported based on the 8/5/23 update

I’ve been using 3-series. Haven’t seen anything in recent changelogs to suggest official G42 support but I could be wrong

I just used the vehicle selector on their site and g42 still isn't listed. The change log says 2013+ 2 series and M2 is supported, but it's not accurate as it only goes up to F series.

Then that one. Lol

I haven’t used bimmercode in a month or two so don’t remember exactly but it’s the 3 series one.

I wonder if you get less options though since that's for only up to F series

Bimmercode must be overwhelmed by the proliferation of BMW model introductions and changes.

I would even pay BMW to enable this. They'd probably make it a $500/yr subscription though.

Coded successfully on my 2023, but haven’t driven at night yet so can’t comment on the functionality yet.

Just loaded up BimmerCode, selected 3 Series, M3, and followed the instructions posted in the other thread. Car rebooted, threw a headlight error, which then went away after leaving diagnostic mode.

I'm not sure if mine is working. Is anti dazzle supposed to work in conjunction with auto highbeam where it leaves highbeams on 100% of the time and only turns off zones where it sees cars? If not, please tell me how I get these to work.

Or do I leave high beams on and they do their work?

I was in my neighborhood going 25-35mph, not sure if that matters

Auto headlights have to be on.
Auto high beams have to be on.

You’ll see the A for auto highbeams on on your dash.

It works after 35mph on very dark roads. If the road is lit by street lights, the auto high beam will not turn on.

So, find a dark road where you can constantly drive above 35mph.
When high beams come on it should be obvious, but the green “A” for auto high beams on the dash should change to blue. When approaching other cars high beams should not deactivate, they will just go around cars.
