Saw 1 red m240i in SF. saw 2 230i's in SF. The white 230i had already some rather extensive front right bumper dmg.

I've seen two so far. One was white and I'm not sure if it was a 240 or 230.

The other, by sheer coincidence, is a Thundernight Metallic owned by a guy who I work with.

In the 10 months of owning my 230i, I have seen a grand total of 0 in the Chicago area (mostly west, southwest).

What doesn't count is the red 230i loaner the dealership where I'll take mine -- I have seen that one once near the dealership, and drove it myself when our Mini was in the shop (it's what sold me on buying my own 230i).

Thought I'd read here somewhere that there were several G42 owners in the 'burbs of Chicago -- yet to see one in almost a year.

I’ve seen a TN 230 and a PB 240 in the San Diego area. The spouse had spotted a BG and BSM as well, but couldn’t tell if these were 230 or 240’s.

I have a (black) G42 to pick up in SC the week of April 17. I'd seen none until my wife and I spotted one (white) driving through town on Saturday - here in the small-ish city I live in, in a fairly rural area. It looks better in person and on the move. Oh well: I guess I may not be the only owner in town. Then the next day I saw it again, parked in a residential area. Return passes on that street convince me the car's owner doesn't live there. Maybe I am the sole local owner?

In St. Louis area saw first G42 in Brooklyn gray I want to say early last summer on the highway. Have seen BG like 2-3 more times since then. Have also seen a black m240i a couple of times. There was a white 230i non M sport at my dealership last august when we had our X1 in for service. It was already sold, but between seeing the BG in motion, and already having driven a G20, the white one on the show floor lit the fuse on ordering one.

In the past 6 months I’ve seen 2 maybe 3 G42 around Atlanta.

1* white 240 I saw in a parking lot.
Saw an TN driving the opposite direction as me. Don’t know if it was a 230 or 240.
And then I saw a BK coupe. Saw it as I was exiting an intersection and was able to get a good look at it. I told myself it was a 2-series.

But that is it. I’ve seen none after I receive my G42. It’s a rare car in these parts.

I've only seen 1 in the wild here in Utah, and it seems he lives in my neighborhood, but I don't have a clue who it is. It's Portimao Blue and I'm 95% certain it's an M240, though I've never seen the badge clearly.

My dealer told me when taking delivery that they just don't sell these 240s. A few 230s, so he had to horse trade an X5 allocation for my car.
7 month wait to get it ......who is buying all the cars that the factory can't keep up?

Spotted a white G42 yesterday in Westhampton/Hampton Bays, NY. I couldn't tell if it was a 230i M-Sport or an M240i, but I flashed my lights when it was coming towards me.

Was this anyone here?

This happened completely by coincidence here in Grand Rapids, MI. Talked to the owner for a bit. Mine (black wheels) is a 230, his an M240.

I've had my M240 since May of '22 and I have never seen another one. I'm in S.E. Mass. and the upper Cape Cod area. Maybe I have to get out more!

No sir. 230i always has body-colored mirror caps, even with M-Sport and Shadowline. Ironically, the M240i owner also asked about that.

I also know someone at bay shore BMW owns a blue M240
