just appears that some of your more recent posts are there for attention only - neither funny or informative. however - all for freedom of expression so I would't let it get to you m33 |

I agree. You should stop posting
THINK about all the posts you made that have attracted "negative" comments. When you've spotted a trend, you'll have your answer. These are forums about BMWs, not about you - keeping on cluttering up threads with tales of your exploits, how big a shit you had last night and your continued ability to talk utter crap winds people up. I find it hard to believe that this is the only place where people are "negative" towards you? YOUR opinion that it's "not really on" just goes to demonstrate what I mean, these are not YOUR forums, they're for everyone. We don't have to read your posts, that is true, but when you're spoliing a good set of forums for everyone else, it's not a surprise that people get narky.

In all seriousness Carl, i think you are probbably a nice enough lad, harmless, and probbably wouldnt hurt a fly.
You have to realise that your only 23 and most of the other members are older, sometimes alot. Without being patronising your still a kid at 23, i didnt GROW up until i was about 28ish. Some of the stuff you write annoys others beacuse its drivvel, not funny or relavent, or intellegent etc etc. Most people on here have tried giving you gentle nudges about your posts, however you blindley continue, i think most of us at some point would like to say " shut the fuck up up you irrelavant little gimp and grow up" however we are much to nice an mature To give you a car annalogy your a little bit MAXpower and the forum is EVO......different readers ie different likes and tastes. Regards Steve. PS I am not meaning to offend you with this post i am trying to give you my honest take on this situation. and i dont think your a gimp.

thanks for your time steve with a decent reply i appreciate constructive critism, just not destructive critism lol its good to get a positive (ish) reply from you i am young and slightly immature but i will try stop posting pointless shite. If you go thru most of my old posts many are imformative, interesting and entertaining, its only the slight few which may spoil it in all honesty with the mags lol, i havent read max flower since i was 17, altho i read Perfomance ford up untill a few months back... been reading EVO and bmwcar for a long time now, some weeks autocar as for a weekly mag is a good read! autosport since i was like 3. (just looked at the pics) i see where you coming from tho, no more shite from Carlos

Carl I don't know you, but, if you will allow me, I could offer you some advice ?
In my opinion, your posts leave you open to the criticism you are upset about. A good example would be asking questions 10 pages into a long discussion thread that were probably answered on the first page - that, I imagine would wind people up. You have also, again only in my opinion, opened your self up a little too much, i.e. threads about your GF (inc Pics !!? ) your mum? Your ablutions ? All these things I would imagine are a way of being friendly, but they give too much to other people and those of us not so 'generous of soul' might exploit these - hence the abuse you feel you are suffering now. Advise ? listen three times, Then speak once. ( I suppose that should be read 3x etc etc) Try and keep on topic... Expect foolishness if you post foolhardy comments I'm actually looking forward to meeting you - and the rest of the crew, at my first meet. so don't let the bastards grind you down. SJ |
