I think what worries me is that he is selling for 6.5k, yet reckons it would sell for 11k. So what would it cost to repair .... 4.5k ?... I doubt it. So why don't they buy it off him, repair it and then sell it ?

Ignoring the possible late registration of a pre lci that's fairly badly damaged looking at the pics i reckon that chassis leg will be down I haven't done a chassis leg on a e90 but if they are the same alloy as the 5 series they can't be welded and need to be bonded and riveted on ! Some one is going to get more than they bargained for if they buy this to repair !

It will always be a CAT-D car, loses interest from the majority of buyers, and in the even of an insurance claim, insurance companies never pay full market value..

My 09 registered pre-LCI E92 was built in 08. Though it seems they were already introducing some LCI features (it has LED number plate lights for example).
