Can't wait for the review! I'm looking to get the same kit for my 135i.

Could you do me a favor and measure the GC struts for me? From the lip where it sits in the knuckle to right where shaft begins. I understand GC are a bit shorter than OE or off the shelf Koni.

Also let me know if those camber plates are as quiet as stock. I'm currently running 400/700 springs with TCK kit and the ride is extremely comfortable. Did not like noisy camber plates so I switched to stock strut mounts. However, stock mounts raised the ride height more than I liked and I'm almost out of bump travel to lower more. Hence, me looking into shorter strut options such as GC offers.

You like a firm ride. But w/LSD + Street/School, you really, really need that rear M sway. No biggie to install.

Have same. I run maybe 0.5" lower than stock ride height. Could go higher for pillow soft cornering - lower introduced me to bump stops. Camber plates make no noise.

I have the same kit on the way. I don't have LSD, subframe bushings or sways. Would you say its best to wait until I can do LSD to do the rest?

I'd wait until you do the LSD and subframe bushings to do the swaybars... the subframe has to drop at least a bit to do the rear sway, better to just do it all at once. I got my diff/swaybars/subframe & diff bushings all at once.

Yes, as DallasBoosted says, you do them all at the same time.

Dinan did NOT recommend that I do the rear sway until I got the LSD done at the same time because your traction goes DOWN apparently.

Do them all at the same time and save money as the whole rear end comes down.

Honestly i do not think ill really ever go with an upgraded rear sway unless i heavily upgrade the front and then ill do a small rear i dont think these cars like rear sway bars even with an lsd. I am going to wait to do the review until i have the diff in whihc will be the end of this week

Does GC use Koni external adjustable rear shocks (adjust rear rebound without removing from the car?)

Do you know how much shorter these struts are from stock, especially the rear?

- Thx

I asked the OP to measure because I didn't know However, I did call Jay@GC and he told me they are 12mm shorter. Those struts along with lower height camber plates, a lower ride height is possible while retaining normal bump travel.
