Battery in OEM alarm siren
I recently bought an alarm retrofit kit on eBay. Since I don't know much about the donor car, I figured I would change the battery in the siren prophylactically, before installing everything.
I cannot, however, figure out how to get to the battery in the siren. There is no visible battery door, nor is there any discernible way to open up the siren. Does anyone have instructions on opening this thing up to change the battery? Also, what battery do I need? Thanks in advance. SM |

No where have I ever seen that a battery seperate from the Car battery is
required for the OEM Car alarm. https://www.e90post.com/forums/attac...5&d=1211989418 https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=145461 |

One of the DIY threads here talks about a battery inside the siren. I guess it's mistaken?.

I went ahead with the installation and it all works perfectly. Here's to pre-wiring!
