Need wheel help/advice

Hello all,

I am after a bit of information regarding the wheel sizes for a e92 335i. I have a friend who is selling 20" adv5.1 flowspec wheels. The fronts are 8.5 wide and the rears are 10.5.

Anyone know if these will fit on the rear without needing to rolls my guards?

I don't know the offset and neither does he lol

Any help would be appreciated, cheers

You really need to know the offsets to get an accurate answer. Most (all?) wheels should have that info somewhere - if not on the front near the bolt holes, then on the insides on the spokes or centre.

with 10.5 tyres, you will most likely need to roll guards.

sorry but what does 10.5 mean?

also, my rims are style 225, 19 x 8 front, 19 x 9 rear, what does the digit 8 & 9 mean?
I know 19 is the diameter.

would love to know how does offset affect the appearance of the car too.
