Hi all! Few weeks ago, I retrofitted an auto dim mirror in my e93 with the wiring harness I bought at my dealer and coding the new equipment with NCS.

It is a little bit different from e90/e92 (e93 FZD is different from others).

The costs are:
- Mirror -> Depends on eBay, but you can find it between 80$ to 200$. If you want homelink, compass or FLA it will be more expensive.
- Wiring harness -> 25$ at your dealer.

You should post up exactly what you coded using NCS. Also, any idea if the side mirrors would work after this coding as well?

I wrote the exactly change that you have to do in your VO with NCS at the end of the video... $431 to CAS and NFRM and reset the car coding. (FAQs part)

But you could do it changing a value in the FZD manually.
The code is EC_SPIEGEL

If you retrofit the exterior mirrors too, you have to add other code ($430 maybe) to tour VO or enabling 'SPIEGEL_ELEKTROCHROM' in your NFRM/FRM

I am going to retrofit them with power folding too. I'll post a DIY Guide.

Thanks for the tutorial, adding FA code $431 to CAS didn't work and the rear view mirror wouldn't light up in Reverse gear but just coding EC_SPIEGEL solved my problem.

You have to add $430 in addition to $431.
